Thursday at the Winter Olympics brings seven finals, including the combined team sprint competition, which will feature Vid Vrhovnik and Gašper Brecl.
Eero Hirvonen and Ilkka Herola each have their own individual bronze medal at the Olympics. And in the team sprint, the duo has every chance of winning another medal in Nordic combined. The duo is fourth after the downhill event.
Ilkka Herola and Eero Hirvonen start the combined pair skiing event in fourth place and with strong confidence in their medal chances. Both have bronze medals from the individual competitions at the Milan-Cortina Olympics and are now trying to crown their Olympic career with a joint medal.
Seven sets of medals will be awarded at the Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina on Thursday, and Slovenia will have only two representatives. Vid Vrhovnik and Gašper Brecl will compete in the Nordic combined. The jumping part of the team sprint on the large ski jump is scheduled for 10 am, and the running part of the 2 x 7.5 kilometer race is scheduled for 2 pm.
