Slovenian House in Cortina to Increase Slovenia's Visibility During the Olympics

The Olympic Committee of Slovenia, together with the state and partners, built the Slovenian House in Cortina d'Ampezzo during the Olympic Games. It was located a good 50 meters away from the fan zone, hosted numerous high-ranking guests from all over the world and became a meeting place for Slovenians at the Games. The Executive Board of the OKS also held its first ever meeting in the house at the Olympic venue.

The Milano-Cortina Games were very close to the Slovenian border for the first time in a long time. Slovenian flags could be seen at the venues of Slovenian competitors, and it was especially colorful on the ski jumps in Predazzo.
