"The Charges Are Without Merit": Statement in Defense of Professor Sławomir Cenckiewicz

The prosecutor's office has brought charges against the former director of the Military Historical Office, Sławomir Cenckiewicz, for aiding and abetting in connection with the disclosure of fragments of the Plan for the Use of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland. He faces up to 10 years in prison.

Former head of the Military Historical Office Sławomir Cenckiewicz heard charges on Thursday regarding the declassification of fragments of Poland's defense plan "Warta". The District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw is conducting proceedings regarding the disclosure of this information in the documentary series "Reset", broadcast in 2023 by TVP.

Prof. Sławomir Cenckiewicz was questioned by the prosecutor's office. After the questioning, the historian gave a statement to the media.
