Sparks Hire Ariana Andonian as General Manager
Andonian brings more than 10 years in NBA and G League basketball operations as the Sparks seek a turnaround after a sixth straight losing season.
On Friday, the Los Angeles Sparks hired Ariana Andonian as general manager, bringing an executive with over 10 years of NBA and NBA G League experience to lead the organization.
Andonian replaces Raegan Pebley, who was fired in mid-July after about 2 1/2 years as general manager.
The 31-year-old executive most recently served as general manager of the Delaware Blue Coats and vice president of player personnel for the Philadelphia 76ers.
Inheriting a team with a 15-25 record, Andonian faces a franchise-worst drought as the Sparks will miss the playoffs for a sixth consecutive season.
Before officially joining the organization, Andonian will attend the 2026 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup in Berlin, then decide the future of head coach Lynne Roberts.
