Six Nations seeks legal action against federal government to acquire safe drinking water - Ground Water Canada

Ohsweken, Ont. – The Six Nations of the Grand River is seeking legal action against the federal government that would require it to ensure those living on the reserve have access to clean drinking water from their taps. A statement of claim was filed in November in Ontario Superior Court. The claim requires the federal government to work immediately with the First Nation community and not at an indefinite future time. Brant Beacon report
