Sitka's new tourism manager talks vision for tourism ahead of first cruise ship of the season

Sitka’s busy tourism season is about to begin. The first cruise ship — the Volendam — arrives in town this Saturday with an estimated 1,432 passengers. The city estimates 326 ports of call between April 26 and Sept. 30, with 13 days that have no ships in town.
