Sinkhole opens in Allentown street, drivers asked to avoid area

Allentown police are asking residents to stay away from a city street Wednesday afternoon after a sinkhole opened. City police said just before 1 p.m. that the sinkhole opened in the 800 block of North Muhlenberg Street. The road is closed between Washington Street and Greenleaf Street.
