Signal issue on commuter rail leading to cancelations and delays - Boston News, Weather, Sports
A signal issue on the commuter rail is impacting commuters and causing delays. The Newburyport/Rockport, Haverhill, Lowell, Fitchburg, and Framingham/Worcester lines are all experience significant delays in both directions. Cancelations have also been reported on the Haverhill line.
Signalling and communication problems have cancelled or delayed MBTA's outbound trains on almost half the system lines on Wednesday. According to Keolis, the system operator and his 12 lines, the incoming and outgoing outbound trains were cancelled on the Newburyport/Rockport, Haverhill, Lowell, Fitchburg and Framingham/Worcester lines.
