It has been decided that Shuri Castle's main hall will be opened to the public on November 23rd. A restoration completion ceremony hosted by the government will also be held on the 22nd. Seven years have passed since the castle burned down on October 31, 2019. Exterior work was completed last year, and interior painting work is currently underway. Nine facilities, including the main hall and the north hall, were destroyed in the fire.
