Manhole covers featuring characters from the popular manga and anime series "Crayon Shin-chan" were unveiled Sunday in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture, near Tokyo, where the story is set.
On the 5th, Kasukabe City in Saitama Prefecture, the setting for the popular anime "Crayon Shin-chan," unveiled manhole covers featuring Shin-chan and his family. Five of these covers were installed around Tobu Railway's Kasukabe Station. At the unveiling event held at City Hall, the main character, Shinnosuke Nohara, appeared and took photos with children.
