She closed her Pilates studio to chase a mountaineering dream, then tragedy struck
- On Thursday, 39-year-old Sarah Mallory Geis died in an avalanche on Broad Peak in the Karakoram range while part of a 10-person expedition led by mountaineer Nirmal "Nims" Purja.
