The number of hepatitis A infections in Hungary increased at an unprecedented rate last year: according to the latest report of the National Center for Public Health and Pharmacy (NNGYK), 2,048 cases were registered by the last week of the year, which far exceeds the data of previous years, and the epidemiological situation shows significant regional inequalities, Portfolio reported.
