Sharon Osbourne Visits Ozzy Osbourne's Grave Every Day
Sharon Osbourne says the family’s grief remains raw as they prepare a documentary on Ozzy’s final Black Sabbath concert.
In a BBC interview published Monday, Sharon Osbourne revealed she visits her late husband Ozzy Osbourne's grave daily. The rock legend died in July 2025 at age 76 at their Buckinghamshire, England home.
Sharon explained she chose a private burial in their garden because 'there was no way I could put Ozzy in a public graveyard.' She wanted him to 'rest and just be' away from public scrutiny.
During their final night together, Sharon said Ozzy woke and asked her to hold him, saying 'Hold me, hold me tight.' She was asleep when he suffered a heart attack the following morning, passing away shortly after.
His death occurred just 17 days after his final performance with Black Sabbath in Birmingham, England, in July 2025. Despite doctors urging him to cancel, Ozzy insisted on the show, which Sharon described as a 'beautiful' farewell.
Reflecting on her loss, Sharon emphasized grief never fully leaves, noting 'You've lost the love of your life, so you don't just wake up and go, I'm fine now.' She stressed learning to live with it rather than expecting it to disappear.
You've lost the love of your life, so you don't wake up one day and say, "Now I'm fine, I'm cured," but you learn to live with it, said the widow of the rock legend.
