Heavy Metal Legend Ozzy Osbourne’s Historic Final Performance Comes to the Big Screen at Vue Northampton This October
The film captures a sold-out farewell show with the original Black Sabbath lineup and guest performers, presented as an immersive theatrical release.
- The documentary 'Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back To The Beginning' opens in cinemas worldwide on October 28, 2026, chronicling legendary singer Ozzy Osbourne's final farewell performance alongside his original Black Sabbath bandmates.
- Birmingham's Villa Park stadium hosted the historic July 5, 2025, concert where Osbourne reunited with Black Sabbath bandmates guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward for the first time in more than 20 years.
- Wife and manager Sharon Osbourne said Ozzy was 'overwhelmed' watching performers from his dressing room, though doctors had warned him two weeks before: 'Don't do it,' after five major operations in a six-and-a-half-year period.
- Hosted by actor Jason Momoa and overseen by musical director Tom Morello of RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, the concert featured performances from Metallica, Guns N' Roses, and other major rock acts alongside personal reflections from influenced artists.
- Vue senior screen content manager Rachel Bland called the film 'a fitting tribute to a true music legend,' captured just 17 days before Osbourne's passing, bringing audiences as close as possible to the historic farewell.
