Damien Castelain, President of the European Metropolis of Lille, is sentenced this Tuesday by the Court of Appeal of Douai to 18 months' suspended imprisonment, €20,000 fine and two years' ineligibility with provisional execution. He will therefore have to leave his office as President of the MEL.
