Mexico City, Dec 10 (EFE).- The Mexican Senate approved on Wednesday the General Law on Circular Economy, which aims to care for and conserve the environment with policies and mechanisms that increase the useful life of the products, and minimize, recover, exploit and value the waste. The project was approved with 111 votes in favor and sent to the Federal Executive for its constitutional effects.
It also amends and adds various provisions of the General Law on Ecological Balance and Protection of the Environment, and of the General Law for the Prevention and Integral Management of Wastes.The entry Senate approves a new law that seeks to increase the useful life of the products was first published in La Voz de Michoacán.
