Yesterday the Senate approved the issuance of the General Law for the Strengthening and Harmonization of Lands and Registers, which seeks to modernize, homologate and link the cadastres and public registers of property throughout the country.
The legislation also establishes a Single Cadastral and Registry Card and a technological platform to link information between Federation, states and municipalities.
