A fire was declared this Thursday, January 1, 2026, as early as dawn, in a warehouse in La Courneuve (Seine-Saint-Denis). The site stored metals, scrap metal and batteries. The prefecture recommends that the inhabitants keep their windows closed.
A 600 m2 warehouse storing scrap metal and batteries in particular was ravaged by flames on Thursday 1 January 2026 in the early morning.
