SEC DG re-elected as vice-chairman of global securities organisation

Emomotimi Agama, the director-general of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), has been re-elected as the vice-chair of the Africa/Middle East regional committee (AMERC) of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) for a second term.   The tenure will run from 2026 to 2028, the commission said in a statement on Tuesday.   Agama was first elected on August 10, 2025.   The SEC said Agama’s re-election reflects growin…
