Search Underway for Missing Hiker in Glacier National Park
Rangers and Flathead County Search and Rescue are focusing on Mount Brown and Snyder areas after Pollio’s vehicle was found at Lake McDonald Lodge.
A multi-agency search is underway in Glacier National Park for Anthony Pollio, 33, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who has been missing since Sunday, May 3. His vehicle was discovered at Lake McDonald Lodge.
Pollio had planned to hike toward Mount Brown and last communicated at 8:20 p.m. on Sunday. Park officials were notified of his disappearance on Monday afternoon.
Rangers and Flathead County Search are focusing on Mount Brown and Snyder Lake areas with aerial support. The Sperry Trail is closed as search efforts continue in the terrain.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the park tip line at 406-888-7077. Search operations remain ongoing to locate the missing hiker.
