Sean "Diddy" Combs' Prison Release Date Pushed Back One Month After Sentencing
Sean Combs' release from FCI Fort Dix is delayed by nearly one month due to reported prison rule violations, extending his sentence beyond the original May 8, 2028 date.
- On June 4, 2028, Sean 'Diddy' Combs' release date was moved from May 8, 2028, according to Federal Bureau of Prisons records obtained by E!.
- Multiple outlets reported the extension followed alleged rule-breaking, including claims Combs drank homemade alcohol and took part in a prohibited three-way phone call, while Combs' management denied the alcohol reports on November 10.
- In court, Combs said 'Domestic violence will always be a heavy burden that I will have to forever carry' after U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced him to 50 months and fined him $500,000 at the Oct. 3, 2025 hearing.
- The change means he will serve roughly an extra month, working in the prison chapel and enrolled in a drug rehabilitation program that could reduce his sentence by a year, Juda Engelmayer said.
- Cassie Ventura's November 2023 complaint initiated the criminal process, with her as one of 34 witnesses, while prosecutors argued Combs led a criminal enterprise and he now appears grey-haired and unrecognisable.
