SCCL receives first coal stock from Odisha's Naini block

Another historic event has been unveiled in the history of Singareni. The first train carrying 4,000 tonnes of G-10 grade coal from Naini Block in Odisha to Jaipur Singareni Power Station in Mancherial district reached Jaipur Power Station on Thursday. The train was welcomed by Singareni Director (Operations) Suryanarayana, Director (E&M) Tirumal Rao and STPP ED Chiranjeevi at the STPP.
SCCL Targets Daily Transport of 12,000 Tonnes of Coal from Odisha’s Naini Mine
Addressing the meeting, Gowtham Potru said the Naini Mine is projected to produce six million tonnes of coal annually, with supplies earmarked for nearby power plants, the Singareni Thermal Power Plant in Telangana and thermal power stations in Tamil Nadu.
