Frightening Final Exhibit Brings yet More Screams to Alton Towers' Scarefest
The new maze features The Archivists and turns failed escapes into living exhibits, adding another story-driven fright to the park’s Scarefest lineup.
Alton Towers Scarefest introduced the new Final Exhibit maze this year, where guests navigate dimly lit corridors chased by The Archivists. The attraction runs through November 1, 2026.
According to the exhibit, The Curator's 'silent workforce of hypnotised servants' search for new additions to his collection. Those who fail to escape risk becoming 'living exhibits, trapped within the archive forever.'
Thrill Mazes including Final Exhibit are restricted to ages 12+, while Family Attractions are for ages 6+. A Thrills Combo costs £60 for single-use access to four Thrill Mazes.
Returning attractions like Altonville Mine Tours offer intense scares with gas-mask wearing workers chasing guests through abandoned mines. For gentler experiences, families visit Spooky Avenue and Trick and Treat Town.
Beyond the mazes, guests enjoy Europe's top rides including Nemesis Reborn and Wicker Man. The Rollercoaster Restaurant adds thrills by spinning meals down tracks from high above.
