The bench said urgent fixation was not maintainable as 94 contempt petitions are pending and the case is already set for Sept. 16.

- The Supreme Court previously ordered authorities to move Imran to Shifa International Hospital on August 18, but the government transferred him to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences instead, citing security concerns.
- A hearing on the contempt petition remains scheduled for September 16 before a three-member bench, with sources noting that 94 other contempt petitions are currently pending before the court.
- Uzma warned that further delay could cause "serious and irreparable harm" to the former prime minister, whose health is reportedly deteriorating while he remains incarcerated at Adiala Jail.
- Separately, The Islamabad High Court rejected pleas from other prisoners seeking treatment at private facilities, reaffirming that inmates lack a fundamental right to choose specific government or private hospitals.
