The Council of Europe's Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) has concluded its examination of Iceland. GRECO's first report on Iceland in the fifth monitoring cycle was published in 2018. GRECO made eighteen recommendations to combat corruption in the public sector and law enforcement authorities. Thirteen have now been implemented, four have been partially implemented and one has not been implemented.
