The prosecutor's office in Halle is now also investigating alleged violations of the arms law against AfD deputy Sebastian Koch. During a raid at the end of August, officials secured weapons from the politician.
At 44 percent, the AfD becomes the strongest force in Saxony-Anhalt. At the same time, party members are being deprived of their weapons due to their political attitude – a process that would hardly be possible in Switzerland.
