Savona residents eligible for Disaster Financial Assistance

The BC government says residents in Savona who were impacted by a flood over the Canada Day long weekend are now eligible for Disaster Financial Assistance (DFA). BC’s Ministry of Emergency Management  has announced new funding supports for people impacted by flash flooding in Savona earlier this month. No injuries were reported, but about 20 homes were affected by the flooding that took place on June 30.
