On Sunday, 6 September, at around 5 p.m., the body of a 20-year-old man from the suburbs of Lyon was found submerged under the waters of Lake Annecy. On Saturday, 29 August, a 25-year-old Cameroonian student in Lyon was found drowned off the same Brune beach, in Veyrier-du-Lac, outside the monitored area. Two gendarmerie investigations were opened.
