Saugeen Shores council uses reserve to reduce rate increase and ease tax fatigue
It is the proverbial “rainy day” for tax-fatigued Saugeen Shores taxpayers who were handed an umbrella by Town councilors who voted to dip into the Tax Stabilization Reserve (TSR) to lower taxes next year, despite a staff caution that money will have to be made up in a future budget.
