Over the past July, Saudi inflation slowed to 2.1% on an annual basis, the lowest rate in 5 months, with rising housing rents. The slowdown came despite a slight acceleration in the prices of food and drinks, second-weight sections, to 1.6%, and a contraction in the cost of transportation less than June.
