Homicide at 100 E Overton Road

On May 18, 2025, at about 10:25 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a stabbing call in the 100 block of east Overton Road. The preliminary investigation determined that Draylon Martin, 34, had been stabbed at the location by 18-year-old John Carranza. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported Martin to the hospital, where he died.
