Woman, 23, fatally shot by fiancé, police say

HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP, MI – A man is expected to be charged related to the shooting death of a 23-year-old woman at a Highland Township home on Tuesday, The Detroit News reports. Rachel Renee Wooten was pronounced dead at the scene Tuesday afternoon at a home in the 200 block of Maple, the report said The suspect, a 21-year-old man, had called 911 and reported that he had shot his fiancée and himself. He was arrested at the scene.
