FREISTADT. A wolf who was standing in the middle of a herd of suckler cows and could not be driven away by warning shots can now be officially killed. The clearance was granted Friday noon.
By temporarily changing the ranking of six communes in the department, including Morey, the Prefect of Saône-et-Loire is changing the conditions under which a simple defensive shot against the wolf is allowed.
