San Rafael auto dealership gets expansion permit

The San Rafael planning office has approved a conditional use permit for a vehicle dealership expansion in the Canal neighborhood. The company that owns Volvo Cars Marin at 619 Francisco Blvd. East plans to buy four neighboring parcels, according to an application filed with the city.
