The Sheriff’s Office’s FREE Teen Defensive Driver Training returns on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, giving young drivers a full day of professional instruction and hands-on practice at Half Moon Bay Airport. The eight-hour class is designed for new teen drivers who live in San Mateo County, are between 16 and 19 years old, and already have a valid driver’s license.
