San Angelo Area Ranks Second in Texas for New Oil Completions in August

SAN ANGELO, TX— Operators in the San Angelo area received 63 permits to drill new oil or gas wells in August and completed 87 new oil wells, according to Railroad Commission of Texas statistics released Sept. 9.The San Angelo district ranked third statewide in new-well permits behind Midland and the San Antonio area.
