Sales tax holiday coming earlier - The Oxford Eagle

If approved by Gov. Tate Reeves, Mississippi’s back-to-school sales tax holiday this summer will be three days long and be two weeks earlier. The sales tax holiday would begin at midnight July 12 and end at midnight July 14, giving parents three full days this year to save a bit of money while shopping for their children’s clothes and school supplies.
