Police had already flagged the Pearson family as at risk, but two Friday intelligence reports were not reviewed before the weekend attack.
An inquest at Bolton Coroners' Court heard Greater Manchester Police failed to review intelligence about gang threats because the safeguarding team did not work weekends, leaving reports unread until after the December 11, 2017, firebombing.
Michelle Pearson's son Kyle reported threats from Zak Bolland, who demanded £500 over a damaged vehicle, while the family faced intimidation from the A-Team gang in the weeks before the attack.
Det Sgt Alison Barber revealed two intelligence reports received Friday, December 8, 2017, remained unread until Monday, warning the A-Team sought Kyle over drug debts before Bolland and David Worrall firebombed the home.

The blaze killed Demi, Brandon, Lacie, and Lia; Michelle Pearson died 20 months later after suffering 68 per cent burns. Bolland and Worrall were jailed for life, receiving minimum terms of 40 and 37 years.
