Saab receives order for RBS 70 Bolide missiles from Lithuania

Saab said in Stockholm on Dec. 31, 2025 that it received an order for RBS 70 Bolide missiles from the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence valued at SEK 3 billion with deliveries 2028–2032.
Defence spending and policy priority on air defence prompted Lithuania to allocate 5.38 percent of GDP, or 4.78 billion euros, next year, building on RBS 70 use since 2004 by the Lithuanian Air Defence Battalion.
Bolide missiles can engage targets up to nine kilometres and penetrate 200 millimetres, while the RBS-70 system includes a stand, launcher and missile, with RBS 70 NG in vehicle-integrated MSHORAD.
The ministry said the contract, with prior agreements, ensures continuous ammunition supply to the Lithuanian Armed Forces for six years, including Carl‑Gustaf M4 and AT4 systems from Saab.
Saab's engineering footprint positions it to support Lithuania with advanced aeronautics, weapons and sensor systems, underpinning Lithuania's air defence capability and Saab's global operations and workforce of 27,000 employees.
