Český Krumlov native Ruth Hálová was one of 669 Czechoslovak children saved from World War II by Nicholas Winton. Her story and the history of the Český Krumlov Jewish community will be commemorated by a cultural project called The Power of Courage and Kindness. The project will be launched on September 9th at the Český Krumlov Synagogue.
