Rosatom expects to complete the repair of the equipment at the Zaporozhsk thermal power plant (TEC) by 23 October, informed the journalists of the Head of State Corporation, Alexei Lihachev. "We hope that by 23 October we will finish these works and further strengthen the energy security and thus the security of the station itself," he said.

Russia’s state nuclear corporation Rosatom said a truce agreementwas in place as of Thursday to allow repairs at a thermal power stationsupplying power to the Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plantin southeastern Ukraine. It said the agreement was mediated by theInternational Atomic Energy Agency.
