Russia Expands Crypto Mining Ban To Moscow Region From Aug
Russia will expand its crypto mining ban to Moscow, the Moscow Region, and parts of the Kursk Region starting Aug. 15, 2026. The restrictions, which will remain in place through 2032, aim to reduce pressure on electricity infrastructure while tightening oversight of cryptocurrency mining activities.
