Rushdie off ventilator and talking, day after attack

The man accused in the stabbing attack on Salman Rushdie pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and assault charges where as the prosecutor called it a "preplanned" crime. Rushdie, 75, suffered a damaged liver and severed nerves in an arm and an eye.
