ICAO and IATA have issued official regulations regarding the safe capacity limits for power banks that passengers can carry into the aircraft cabin. |Power banks with a capacity of up to 100 Wh are free to be carried into the cabin, while those above 160 Wh are strictly prohibited. |Passengers are advised to check the information label, protect the battery terminals, and prohibit the transport of power banks in checked baggage.
Wizz Air allows only one power bank, and the Lufthansa group, Turkish Airlines and Pegasus prohibit any use during the flight. An exception is Ryanair.
