A correspondent war journalist for Russia's RIA Novosti news agency was killed and three other journalists were injured in a Ukrainian artillery strike near the front line in Ukraine's southeastern province of Zaporozhye, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday, according to Reuters and AFP.
Moscow - Russia's Belgorod region gubernatorial leader Vyacheslav Gladkov today accused Ukrainian forces of using cluster munitions in Friday's attack on the border village of Zhuravlyovka. AFP and Reuters reported. Ukraine has not commented on Gladkov's comments. The agencies said they could not independently verify the Russian side's claims.
