Route 2 reopens after hit-and-run crash in Preston
Both sides of Route 2 in Preston have reopened after a serious pedestrian crash Monday night. The CT Department of Transportation said both directions of Route 2 were closed at Hewitt Road. Connecticut State Police said serious injuries were reported, and the driver fled the scene. The crash was reported just before 10 p.m. and remains under investigation.
