Rotterdam alderman candidate Eva Heijblom (D66) did not receive enough votes to take her seat on the municipal executive. During the council meeting in which the aldermen were installed, the vote revealed that her fellow party member Joan Nunnely had received more votes. Heijblom received 21 votes, while Nunnely received 23.
