Läänemets, Ginter, Loigo: no one wants a surveillance society
While former Interior Minister Lauri Läänemets and Police Lieutenant Colonel Sirle Loigot confirmed on Thursday on Vikerraadio's "Reporteritund" program that, despite the wider use of various automated systems to catch violators, they do not recommend creating a surveillance society, attorney Carri Ginter referred to the state's previous failures and warned against rulers advocating a different policy in the future.
