- Magistrate Renier Boshoff fined Mugabe R600,000, ordering 24 months imprisonment for pointing an object "likely to be perceived as a firearm" and 18 months for immigration violations. He was ordered deported to Zimbabwe.
- Pleading guilty to attempted murder and other charges, Matonhodze received an effective three-year prison sentence. The court ruled he will be deported to Zimbabwe upon completing his incarceration.
- Mahlangu is to receive R400,000 in total compensation, with R150,000 still outstanding from prior payments. Investigating officer Craig Raj expressed concerns that the missing firearm hampers the investigation's full scope.
