Ritter Communications Announces High-Capacity Long-Haul Network from Little Rock to Tulsa
The 280-mile fiber expansion supports a 20-year contract with a hyperscaler partner and aims to enhance services for over 62,000 customers across seven states.
On Nov. 18, 2025, Ritter Communications announced a high-capacity long-haul fiber expansion from Little Rock, Arkansas, to Tulsa, Oklahoma, reinforcing its role as the largest privately held broadband provider serving the South.
The build is tied to a 20-year contract with a strategic hyperscaler partner, and Ritter says the project aims to deliver next-generation services and invest in the communities served by Ritter.
Construction will include more than 280 miles of underground multi-conduit systems and high-strand-count fiber cables, with completion expected by the end of December 2025; Ritter is headquartered in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Local homes, schools and businesses stand to receive upgraded connectivity as Ritter broadens its footprint to 197 communities and more than 62,000 customers.
Ritter positions itself to support hyperscaler AI initiatives, leveraging over 115 years of experience.
